Since 2022, I have volunteered at animal shelters and rescues in New York and San Francisco. I founded Happy Pit Bulls(@hihappypitbulls) in early 2024 to bring awareness to homeless animals in shelters, sharing portrait features of adoptable animals on social media and designing a line of illustrated t-shirts to share their stories. It has fostered meaningful connection with local rescue groups, animal lovers and city organizations, including Korean K9 Rescue and NYCACC (Animal Care Centers of NYC).
